Rochon is the daughter of Zelma Staples and Samuel Staples. She was born in Torrance, Los Angeles, to Zelma Staples as well as Samuel Staples. Ullerup was part of the cast as Julia Brynn, a character in the remake show Battlestar Galactica that aired 2006 on Sci Fi Channel. Her character, Ashley Magnus, was written out of Sanctuary's first and second season. Fans were enraged by her departure, and many would like to see her back in future seasons. Sanctuary ended in 2012 but not before an intense debate. In the year 2016, Ullerup was cast as Bree O'Brien in Chesapeake Shores. Ullerup was cast as Maggie Thomas, Michael Thomas' estranged spouse, in Asteroid: Final Impact (2005). Ullerup's recurring role in Hallmark's Signed, Sealed, Delivered series has been Dale Travers since 2016.
